Hey guys - just found your site and from a few minutes of poking around, it looks pretty fun. I definitely plan on coming back and spending more time.
I just started a blog of my own a couple weeks back: http://plamor.wordpress.com. I’m focuing on that middle ground of gamers - folks that can’t spend every waking hour playing games, but do enjoy something more challenging that the games we played when we were kids. I will be doing a review every once in a while, but I’ve mainly been focusing on gaming resources, starting up gaming groups, general interest stuff, etc.
I’d love it if you could add me to your links list or something. I plan on writing a short item right now putting in a plug for your website and podcasts.
Good luck!

Just found your podcast (heard the plug on Dice Tower), really enjoyed it. Laughed alot at your gaming slang - we do stuff very similar to you. I’m starting my own podcast from the UK (theboardgamer.co.uk), UK gaming with an emphasis on new players and playing with kids. I’m just sorting out hosting, should be up by end of June. Eps 1-4 are in the can, hope they’re as good as yours!
Cheers
Steve

Hi, I just thought I’d let you know that I’ve been thoroughly enjoying your podcasts. You all seem to really get along well, and your sense of humor sets you apart from all the other podcasts. Other podcasters attempt jokes, but they fall flat, in my opinion. Keep up the good work.
Listening to episode 4 this morning, your session of Cash ‘n Guns reminded me I have it, and should try it today, since my three boys (twins 13 and one 11) have two friends sleeping over last. It should play well with six, I hope.
My family just got back from Kauai, and before I left I ordered several games from an online retailer, boulder games. One of the games I ordered was Canal Mania, and I copied Mike’s review and read it on the flight out. It was well-written, and I couldn’t wait to play when I got back. I played on Wednesday, and it was a HUGE success, easily our favorite game this year. You might want to mention this game in a future podcast. I haven’t heard any other podcasts say anything about it.

Hi, glad you are enjoying the podcast Dana, it’s certainly fun doing it! Hope you like Canal Mania, it’s certainly been one of my best games for a while!

Did you know that the downloads links are broken (or is it just me)?

Have to agree - wanted to download the spreadsheets to see if anything had been updated - but nope, no files. No icons either for that matter

Ahh well, you see, it’s like this….
There is only one “file” system for Wordpress, and now that we have had to move the podcast to a dedicated podcast platform, we can no longer host the files there.
The easiest thing will be to delete the page…..

I’ve just gotten out of being in hospital due to the thrashing Mrs. Hibbert gave me with her rolling pin and I decided that it was high time that I came to visit the site. Nice site but your accents don’t really come through as well in the text so I’ll just stick to listening to the podcast.

Hello chaps,
been listening to your cast for a while now and just wanted to say how much I’m enjoying it. I have a question for you..My daughter is 10 and we play alot of Incan Gold and Carcassonne, which she adores. I have a copy of Stone Age in the post and wondered if you had been able to play it yet and if so do you think its too much for an intelligent 10 year old?
Awesome show and keep up the good work:)
